What am I going to do......

Brent went to church camp yesterday for a week... A whole week just me and the two kids..My poor babies were sooo upset all day yesterday because daddy was leaving...never mind that there mom was going to be with them.... It was ALL about dad...... I'm not sure how I'm going to do it all by myself this week... Lane and Sara Beth have to be picked up by 6 at s.a.c.p. Lane has baseball at 6 and I don't get off work till 6... Do you see something wrong with this picture.... The church ask me to go to camp as well.... here is my major complaint I had with that.... (1) I don't camp.....(2) I don't camp....(3) No AC.....NO Way......Brent told them that it was better if I did not go because when I get hot I get really moody (whatever)...I told Brent that if I was a stay at home mom (like I want to be) then I would not have to worry about getting the kids pick up on time... I don't think that he liked that to much...OK I'll get off my soap box now....Please pray that Brent and all the youth at camp have a safe and fun time....

So before Brent went off to camp this weekend we had a lot of fun. We had a few baseball games...after the game on Saturday we went to Brent's best friends house for his little girls birthday.

I am sure that I will not have time to post anything this week... So please say a little prayer for me this week that I make it without any problems...

Father/Son Marathon
A son asked his father, 'Dad, will you take part in a marathon with me?' The father who, despite having a heart condition, said 'Yes'. They went on to complete the marathon together. Father and son went on to join other marathons, the father always saying 'Yes' to his son's request of going through the race together. One day, the son asked his father, 'Dad, let's join the Iron man together.' To which, his father said 'Yes' . For those who don't know, Iron man is the toughest triathlon ever. The race encompasses three endurance events of a 2.4 mile ocean swim, followed by a 112 mile bike ride, and ending with a 26.2 mile marathon along the coast of the Big Island of Hawaii . Father and son went on to complete the race together.

Sunday on our way home from church Lane ask Brent if he could drive home. So once we got on the back roads Brent let Lane drive. I may have whiplash from Lane stopping so fast but we all made it home in one piece. I was thinking while Lane was driving how he'll be driving by his self before I know it. Time goes by so fast....

Eagleville Baseball Tournament

Well another weekend of ball.... At least this one was only in Eagleville and I remembered to bring my Camera this time. We played 1 game on Friday and 5 games on Saturday... let me tell you we have a lot of sleepy boys ( and parents) after the last game on Saturday.

WHAT A GIFT!!!

So in August Brent turns 30 then in September we have our 7 year anniversary and in October I turn 28. Brent has always wanted to go on a cruise and being the GREAT wife that I am lol I planned a trip for me and Brent (no kids) in September to celebrate our birthdays and our anniversary. I wanted it to be a surprise but Brent found out about it a couple of months ago. We will be going on a five day cruise to the Eastern Caribbean!! We are flying down to Fort Lauderdale on Sunday September 7 to see my bother and sister-in law a day early then on Monday September 8 off we go.

We are so excited we have not been anywhere by ourselves since are honeymoon. We hate to leave the kids for a week but I'm sure they will be fine. Please pray that we have a safe trip and that our kids will be ok while mom and dad are gone!!!

What a weekend

Ok... so this past weekend we had five baseball games. Wow was it hot!!! I told everyone that I would post pictures of the games on our blog. I was soooo busy getting everything ready to go to Alabama I didn't even get the camera. Sorry no pictures this time. Well out of the five games they won one. Lane did great!!! Lane made one play that surprised everyone. Here's the play by play!!!! He plays short stop so the ball was hit to him he caught it in the air (1 out) the runner on second was heading to third and the runner on first was heading to second but after Lane caught the ball the play was no good. Lane ran to second base got that runner out before he got back to the base (2 outs) then he ran and got the boy out that was running back to frist ( 3 outs). Three outs in one play GO LANE!!!!! Brent was so proud he bought Lane a new bat and ball bag. I don't know who was more excited Brent, Lane or Me. But let me tell you I was one proud Mom. Brent had a great fathers day we didn't do much just the same old thing. We went to church then went out to eat like every other crazy person. Oh... before I forget I have to tell my friends little girl who turns four...Happy Birthday Chole!!!

I'll be away for a few days. Lane has his first all stars ball tournament this weekend in Alabama. I'll post picture of the game and let everyone know how it went next week when we get back. Happy Father's Day to all the dad's!!!!

LETS PLAY CATCH UP!!!

So.... let me tell you a little bit about whats been happen the past couple of months since I just started this. Lane is out of school and made it to the 2nd grade..... ( Where is my little baby boy gone too.) He is going to be able to have his same teacher that he had in 1st grade. Ms. Thompson she is great and Lane really likes her. We didn't have a lot of trouble this year in school. We had a couple of notes sent home because Lane has a hard time being quiet.... but if you know his dad you know that he gets it honestly!!!! Sara Beth graduated from Pre School and as she says "she's ready for big girl school now." She has been going to dance for two years and she just had her dance recital and may I say she was a show stopper. Both Lane and Sara Beth are very active in baseball well Lane is Sara Beth doesn't really care if she plays, but she out there every time they have a game. Lane made all stars for the second time. GO LANE!!!! Both Lane and Sara Beth are going to S.A.C.P this summer so far so good they really like to go on all the trips that they take. They get to go to the pool every Tuesday they love that. As for Brent he is always on the go. He is the coach for Lane's all star team also the youth leader at our church and a wonderful Christian husband. He is going to kill me for telling this but he turns the big 30 this year. Well I'm next in line I work full time at Bedford County Chiropractic and I love it. I try to make it to all of my kid's game and every thing at church as well..... sometimes that's hard to do.... but what do you do about it? I started this blog so family and friends could stay in touch with what we do. I hope that I have time to keep it up to date. If a few days go by and I've not posted anything just check back in later.
